PORT OF SEATTLE
Wheelchairs are accessible to help passengers board and disembark from the ships at both terminals.
Free valet service for your luggage is offered by the Port of Seattle for passengers departing from SEA on their last cruise day. Attach the provided tags to your luggage and place it outside your cabin on the final evening, and your bags will be picked up and delivered straight to the airport.
Cruise lines that are part of this program include Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America, Princess Cruises, and Royal Caribbean. Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) in Everett is located 24 miles from the Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66, which takes approximately 40 minutes to reach depending on traffic. It is also 25 miles from the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91, a journey that typically takes around 42 minutes.
The airport features just two gates and is exclusively operated by Alaska Airlines. The majority of the destinations are located in the western region. You can find flights to and from cities including Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Honolulu.

Cruise line transfers
Many cruise lines provide transportation to and from SEA or nearby hotels for an additional fee. Occasionally, this service is available only to travelers who book flights through the cruise line. For instance, Carnival Cruise Line offers shuttle services starting at $37.99 per person from SEA to the cruise port for passengers arriving by noon on the day of embarkation.
Currently, no cruise lines provide transfers to or from PAE.
Hotel shuttle services
If you are seeking hotels close to the Seattle cruise port that offer shuttle services to the cruise terminals, you’ll discover several options in the downtown area. The fee for this service typically ranges from $10 to $20 per person.
For those aiming to accumulate more Marriott Bonvoy points, the SpringHill Suites Seattle Downtown/South Lake Union provides a package that includes an upgraded suite, free breakfast, and transportation for two people to the cruise terminals. For Hilton Honors members, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Tacoma International Airport offers shuttle service to the cruise ports at a rate of $27 per person for one-way or $50 for a round-trip.
Autonomous airport transportation services
Businesses such as Premier Airport Shuttle provide shared or exclusive transportation options from SEA to the cruise ports. Shared shuttle services begin at approximately $33 per person each way, whereas private transfers accommodating up to 20 passengers start at around $320.
Taxi services and ride-hailing platforms
You can request ride-hailing services such as Uber or Lyft from either airport. Uber and Lyft fares fluctuate significantly, but typically, you can anticipate spending $70 each way to and from SEA or $100 each way to and from PAE.
Taxis are not easily accessible at PAE, but you can find them on the third floor of the SEA parking garage near the ride-hail pickup area. Flat-rate taxis charge $40 for a trip from the airport to the hotel district. However, flat rates do not apply to trips to the cruise terminals. In Seattle, metered rates are $2.60 for the initial meter drop and $2.70 per mile. A 17-mile journey from SEA to Pier 91 is estimated to cost $48.50 in a metered taxi, though additional passengers, different routes, and other factors may increase the fare.
Personal vehicle or transport service
Personal cars or vans can be arranged for transit to or from both airports. Alternatives comprise Blacklane, with rates beginning at approximately $108 each way from SEA to the cruise terminals (inclusive of luxury vehicle pickup and a meet and greet at the baggage claim area). The equivalent service to or from PAE has starting prices of roughly $130 each way.
Public transportation
Regrettably, public transportation does not extend to the cruise terminals. However, the Light Rail offers service from SEA to West Lake Station in downtown Seattle. From that location, the cruise terminals are typically an 8- to 15-minute Lyft or Uber ride away. One-way fares range from $2.25 to $3.25 per person, and trains run every 15 minutes.
To get to the light rail station at SEA, go to the fourth floor and cross the sky bridge into the parking garage. After that, follow the signs and the marked path to the train. Seattle cruise port parking
On-site parking
The parking garage at Bell Street Cruise Terminal is situated directly opposite the cruise terminal. Access it via Wall Street and adhere to the parking signs. The daily parking rate is $23, but you can get a $1 daily discount if you prepay online.
The Bell Street parking garage provides over 1,500 covered parking spaces, including 25 designated for accessibility, and can fit vehicles up to 6 feet, 6 inches in height. For vehicles taller than this limit, parking is available at Pier 91, with taxi vouchers provided for transportation to and from Pier 66.
The Smith Cove Cruise Terminal Lot D at Pier 91 offers 1,100 secure parking spaces, including accessible spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. The standard parking rate is $29 per day, with a $1 daily discount available for online prepayments.
Besides accommodating passengers leaving from Pier 91, Lot D functions as the parking area for RVs and oversized vehicles at both piers. Parking costs are $60 per day for vehicles under 40 feet and $65 per day for those over 40 feet. To ensure RV parking, reservations and prepayment online are required. For cruises departing from the Bell Street Cruise Terminal, the cashier will provide taxi vouchers for the ride back.
Park-and-cruise packages
Depending on the duration of your cruise, certain Seattle hotels permit you to leave your vehicle while you’re at sea, often for an additional charge. Members of the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program may want to check out the cruise package at Hotel Andra Seattle. This package offers a 50% discount on valet parking, free parking during the cruise, and a one-way shuttle service for two from the hotel to the cruise terminal.

For travelers needing a convenient place to stay before their cruise, the Hampton Inn Seattle-Airport is an excellent choice, costing between 34,000 and 50,000 Hilton Honors points per night.
