The return leg, BA34, will take off from Melbourne at 4:35 PM, reaching Kuala Lumpur at 9:35 PM, before departing for London at 11:15 PM, with an arrival time of 5:20 AM the following morning.
The service will utilize a Boeing 787-9, featuring 215 seats distributed across four classes: eight in first class, 38 in business, 39 in premium economy, and 130 in economy. British Airways will provide fifth freedom rights on the Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne portion, permitting travelers to book this segment separately.
This growth signifies British Airways’ reentry into Melbourne after a hiatus of twenty years, having previously managed the route via Singapore.
