The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at London Heathrow (LHR) has been recognized for a long time as one of the top business class lounges worldwide. Recently, Virgin Atlantic has rolled out various enhancements to further elevate the lounge experience. Although it isn’t a full renovation, these improvements are designed to modernize and upgrade the current amenities.
A notable enhancement is the redesign of the lounge’s gallery, now featuring sweeping panoramic runway vistas. The aesthetic is inspired by the essence of London, incorporating subtle nods to the city’s transport legacy along with Virgin Atlantic’s distinctive flair.
For business travelers, the launch of two new work pods is a first for the lounge. These secluded work areas, called “The Townhouse” and “The Manor,” pay tribute to Virgin Records and showcase studio-themed artwork, built-in power outlets, and desks.
The cinema area has also been updated, influenced by London’s exclusive member clubs and Soho’s private screening rooms. Improved seating now offers built-in charging points, television access, and Bluetooth headphones.
A new Royal Box VIP section has been added, creating an exclusive invitation-only area with runway views. This zone includes a “Cabinet of Curiosities,” offering guests lavish treats and moments of celebratory champagne.
Moreover, the lounge now features two wellness pop-ups. Until May 31, 2026, visitors can experience Somadomes, immersive wellness capsules that provide light therapy and meditation. Until April 30, 2026, Secret Spa presents express treatments such as massages, facials, and manicures.
These enhancements significantly elevate the already superb Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, offering stylish and contemporary spaces for patrons. Although the wellness pop-ups are temporary, they greatly enrich the lounge experience. Virgin Atlantic has committed to further updates in the upcoming months, which travelers are keenly looking forward to.
