Routes for United's Premium Boeing 787s featuring New Cabins
United Airlines has recently launched its new Boeing 787-9 aircraft, named United Elevate, which features entirely new cabins and the latest Polaris business class seats. This signifies a considerable improvement in United’s long-haul travel offerings. The airline is set to receive a total of 71 Boeing 787-9s, equipped with a distinguished configuration of 222 seats, comprising 64 Polaris business class seats, 35 Premium Plus seats, and 123 economy seats.

At present, United operates four of these aircraft in its fleet, with intentions to grow to 33 by 2028. The new 787-9s are stationed in San Francisco, providing daily flights to Singapore (SIN) and London Heathrow (LHR). As further aircraft are added, the airline plans to introduce additional routes, including a second daily flight to both Singapore and London, along with new service to Zurich (ZRH) by September 2026.

Travelers can recognize flights serviced by these new planes by looking for “Polaris Studio available” listed under the United Polaris fare options. The rollout of these aircraft is set to enhance the travel experience, providing greater opportunities for upgrades and awards.
