Miraval Unveils Global Growth into the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia
Miraval, Hyatt’s exclusive luxury wellness brand, has launched its global presence with the inauguration of Miraval the Red Sea on May 15, 2026. Located on Saudi Arabia’s Shura Island, this resort is part of the ambitious Red Sea Project, a partnership between Hyatt and the Red Sea Development Company. The resort offers 180 guest rooms and suites, including 20 villas, spread across three million square feet. It features a 40,000 square foot spa, walking trails, outdoor activities, and a variety of creative and wellness spaces. Dining choices consist of a central dining area, a marketplace, and culinary workshops. The Red Sea Project aims to establish Saudi Arabia as a leading international leisure destination, with substantial investments in tourism infrastructure. Guests can reach the resort via Red Sea International Airport, with flights from Dubai, Doha, Jeddah, and Riyadh. Rates begin at around $1,070 USD per night for single occupancy, with World of Hyatt points redemption available at 30,000 points per night. This expansion signifies Saudi Arabia’s strategic shift towards tourism, with a planned investment of one trillion dollars over the upcoming decade.
