Park Hyatt Riviera Maya Cancun Set to Launch as the Brand's Initial All-Inclusive Resort in Early 2027
In late 2023, Hyatt and Parks Hospitality Holdings revealed a partnership aimed at broadening Hyatt’s presence in Mexico through the creation of four new establishments. Among these, the Park Hyatt Riviera Maya emerges as the brand’s inaugural all-inclusive resort. The hotel is now open for bookings for stays commencing February 15, 2027, following several postponements from its originally scheduled 2025 debut.

The Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, situated in Cancun, Mexico, will boast 148 rooms, introducing a fresh concept for the Park Hyatt brand as an all-inclusive resort. This initiative aligns with Hyatt’s recent emphasis on enhancing its all-inclusive portfolio. The resort will offer a variety of dining venues, including a Beach Club Grill, a restaurant serving all-day meals, a steakhouse, a pool bar, and a patisserie. Room sizes will vary from 559 to 2,303 square feet, providing spacious and tastefully designed accommodations.

Resort amenities will encompass several pools, a comprehensive spa, and a fitness center. The Park Hyatt Riviera Maya adds to the increasing array of luxury accommodations in the Cancun region, joining recent openings such as the St. Regis Kanai and Waldorf Astoria Cancun.

For guests interested in reservations, cash rates begin at approximately $1,500 per night, inclusive of taxes and fees. The hotel is also a participant in Hyatt’s World of Hyatt loyalty program, with award nights costing between 77,500 and 127,500 points per night for two individuals. This new establishment signifies Hyatt’s ongoing luxury growth in Mexico, notwithstanding some discrepancies in the traditional offerings of the Park Hyatt brand.
