Air France is famous for its La Premiere first class, providing one of the finest first class ground experiences and inflight services in the world. A key element of this experience is the La Premiere Lounge, which has recently been renovated. This lounge, situated at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, was partially shut down earlier this year for enhancements, which have now been finalized.
The renovation commenced in early February 2026 and wrapped up in early July. Throughout this period, Air France managed partial operations of the lounge, ensuring it was available during peak hours until 2 PM. Post 2 PM, La Premiere passengers were accommodated in the arrivals and departures vestibule, found in the Schengen area.
The improvements to the La Premiere Lounge feature updated aesthetics, more seating, enhanced privacy, a larger dining area, and six nap rooms equipped with daybeds. The Sisley Spa within the lounge is also undergoing expansion. These modifications are designed to elevate the seamless and luxurious ground experience that Air France is celebrated for.
The renovation corresponds with Air France’s recent upgrades to its first class facilities, which include new arrivals and departures areas as well as private suites. Although an official announcement has yet to be made, the enhancements are anticipated to further strengthen Air France’s standing for excellence in first class travel.
