Air France has recently introduced its new outstation lounge at Frankfurt Airport, situated in the freshly opened Terminal 3. This lounge is a noteworthy enhancement as it marks the first lounge located in the Schengen section of the terminal. Launched on September 1, 2026, the lounge operates in partnership with Global Lounge Network.
Covering nearly 500 square meters, the lounge accommodates about 120 visitors and features a bright, spacious setting with sweeping views of the airport runways. The design embodies Air France’s distinctive style, showcasing a color scheme of blue, white, and red, along with the airline’s recognizable winged seahorse emblem and retro posters.
Open daily from 5 AM to 9:30 PM, the lounge is available to SkyTeam business class travelers, including those journeying with Air France and KLM, as well as SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Currently, there are no plans for the lounge to be accessible to Priority Pass holders.
The lounge includes various areas, such as a dining section specializing in French cuisine, which can accommodate up to 50 individuals. Moreover, there is a dedicated zone for Flying Blue Ultimate members, featuring cocoon-style seating.
This new lounge takes the place of the previous Air France lounge in Terminal 2, offering a more contemporary and sophisticated experience. As Terminal 3 continues to evolve, the Air France Lounge emerges as the first in the Schengen area, establishing a commendable benchmark for upcoming lounge openings in the terminal.
