Air France to Launch Extensive Lounge at New York JFK's Upcoming Terminal One in 2027
Air France has formally declared its intentions to establish a new lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) as part of the extensive airport redevelopment project. The upcoming lounge will be situated in the new Terminal One, anticipated to debut in 2027. This facility will succeed the airline’s existing operations in the former Terminal 1. The new lounge is set to be Air France’s largest outside of France, covering over 2,700 square meters (about 29,000 square feet) and accommodating more than 400 visitors.

The lounge will encompass two levels, featuring a spacious dining area, a bar, and designated areas for beauty treatments, relaxation, and work. Air France is dedicated to enhancing its La Premiere (first class) ground experience, providing an exclusive zone with a special a la carte dining option. Furthermore, there will be a specific section for Flying Blue’s elite Ultimate members.

Entrance to the new lounge will comply with standard SkyTeam lounge access criteria, welcoming SkyTeam business class travelers and SkyTeam Elite Plus members. The lounge is part of a comprehensive plan for JFK Terminal One, which will serve nearly two dozen airlines across different alliances. The terminal will host six lounges, including those managed by Air France, Korean Air, Qatar Airways, and Turkish Airlines, as well as two Plaza Premium Lounges.

Air France’s new lounge at JFK Terminal One is set to offer a substantial enhancement, delivering a luxurious and expansive setting for travelers. The airline’s emphasis on quality and customer service is anticipated to make this lounge a distinguished facility within the redeveloped terminal.
