In 2024, World of Hyatt and Under Canvas established a collaboration, allowing members to earn and use points for exciting outdoor-centric accommodations. World of Hyatt has initiated a promotion for stays at Under Canvas, which may encourage some individuals to explore the brand.
World Of Hyatt promoting Under Canvas stays
World of Hyatt is providing bonus points on Under Canvas reservations for those holding a World of Hyatt co-branded credit card (personal or business).
The promotion is advertised as delivering a total of 20x points on Under Canvas expenditures, which includes the standard 5x points members typically receive, plus an additional 4x points for qualifying expenses on a Hyatt co-branded credit card. Essentially, the promotion presents an extra 11x points for every dollar spent.
As anticipated, there are some conditions to note:
– Registration is necessary between April 1 and June 12, 2026
– Reservations must be made through World of Hyatt platforms, including their website or app
– Stays should occur between June 1 and September 8, 2026
– Members can accumulate up to 100,000 bonus points through this promotion (based on the 11x bonus points earned)
– This applies to all 14 Under Canvas sites, including ULUM Moab, The Fields of Michigan, and Bar N Ranch
– Bonus points will be credited within three to four weeks after a qualifying stay is completed

A World of Hyatt Globalist member using a co-branded Hyatt Card would gain 21.5x World of Hyatt points for each dollar spent. I estimate World of Hyatt points to be worth 1.5 cents each, so this promotion represents an extra 30%+ return on spending for me. That’s pretty impressive!
Additionally, I’ve truly been eager to experience the Under Canvas brand, as they offer some remarkable properties. This could be the motivation I needed to finally try out the brand. Or perhaps there’s a reason we’re seeing such a strong promotion in summer, a time when many of these venues lack air conditioning? Hmm…
Bottom line
Members with a co-branded World of Hyatt credit card who complete registration can earn 11x bonus points for every dollar spent at Under Canvas properties. When factoring in the points typically earned along with those from credit card expenditures, you’re receiving a minimum of 20x points per dollar spent.
It’s not ideal to chase after that for just a mattress run, but it offers a pretty commendable return on spending at some visually stunning properties.
