Air France’s La Premiere first class is renowned as one of the top first class experiences globally. The airline is currently upgrading this offering by launching a new first class suite, taking luxury travel to unprecedented levels. The former first class product was already well-regarded, but the updated version exceeds it, providing an even more remarkable experience.
Air France is gradually implementing this new first class across its fleet, now operational on 18 aircraft, with ambitions to extend to additional routes. Recently, two new La Premiere locations have been introduced, showcasing the airline’s dedication to expanding its premium offerings.
The first class is limited to a specific group of Boeing 777-300ERs, which offer four service categories. At present, it is fitted on over two dozen of these aircraft, approximately half of the 777-300ER fleet. Importantly, first class is not offered on other Air France aircraft types such as the A330s, A350s, or 787s.
Routes featuring Air France’s first class encompass select flights between Paris (CDG) and destinations like Abidjan, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington. Additionally, new services to Boston and Newark are anticipated to begin in the future.
The new first class cabins are part of a larger refurbishment of the Boeing 777-300ER fleet, which also includes the addition of a new business class with doors and the implementation of Starlink Wi-Fi. The revamped cabins are currently available on flights to Abidjan, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, and Tokyo.
Air France’s reconfiguration initiative aims for completion by spring 2027, enhancing the travel experience for first and business class passengers alike. The new first class showcases a unique design with a seat and chaise longue, differing from the previous layout.
In summary, Air France’s La Premiere first class continues to uphold a high benchmark in luxury air travel, with its ongoing improvements promising an even more sophisticated and exclusive experience for discerning travelers.
