Ventura County, California, situated just 50 miles north of Los Angeles, is an undiscovered treasure for beach aficionados, adventurers, and history enthusiasts alike. Having grown up just south of this locale, I possess countless cherished memories of this coastal haven. From school reports about Mission San Buenaventura to strawberry harvesting in Oxnard, commemorating birthdays on Ventura Beach, shopping for prom outfits at Camarillo Outlets, and participating in summer camps on the Channel Islands, Ventura County has always been close to my heart.
