Breeze Airways is broadening its presence in Florida.
The budget airline headquartered in Provo, Utah, revealed three new nonstop routes on Tuesday. Each route will connect to one of its hubs in Florida.
Two of the newly announced routes include flights to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) near Fort Myers, where Breeze plans to establish its latest base later this year.

Route details
Each of the new routes will be launched this fall. Here’s a detailed overview:
- Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (BTV) to Fort Myers — starts October 4, with flights available twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
- Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) to Fort Myers — begins service on October 2, with flights available twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport (AVP) to Tampa International Airport (TPA) — starts October 18, offering flights twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

Islip expansion
Starting in October, Breeze will introduce a new nonstop route from Islip to Fort Myers, marking the airline’s fourth direct destination from Long Island, New York. Currently, the carrier operates nonstop flights to Charleston International Airport (CHS) in South Carolina, Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Virginia, and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina.

That route is the most recent enhancement for Islip, which has recently welcomed a completely new airline, JetBlue.
Fort Myers is set to become a new destination for travelers from Islip.
More flights to Orlando
In addition to introducing these three new routes, Breeze is also extending its service between northeastern Pennsylvania and Central Florida.
Beginning on October 8, the airline will introduce an additional weekly round trip, raising the total to five, between Wilkes-Barre Scranton and Orlando.
Flights will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
