Emirates Airline has initiated an intriguing auction, with the proceeds directed towards a charitable cause. In collaboration with Emirates Auction, the Emirates Airline Foundation is introducing an exclusive online auction linked to the Emirates Skywards program. Participants can bid on the Emirates Skywards Platinum status, which will be valid for a duration of 5-20 years. The auction features unique Platinum membership numbers, regarded as a status symbol within the UAE. Scheduled from December 17, 2025, to January 17, 2026, the auction welcomes bidders from across the globe. All funds raised will aid 14 NGOs in nine countries via the Emirates Airline Foundation.
Current bids fluctuate between 71,100 and 326,000 AED (19,359 to 88,761 USD), with the membership numbers fueling the bidding competition. The duration of the status validity is contingent on the bid amounts, allowing for a maximum of 20 years. This auction presents a distinctive fundraising strategy to enhance the foundation’s influence, with every contribution assisting local NGO partners.
