The initial trio of hotels resulting from the new partnership between Hilton and Small Luxury Hotels of the World is now open for reservations, allowing Hilton Honors members to experience elite benefits.
Teranka in Formentera, Spain; Nobu Hotel Marbella in Marbella, Spain; and Flemings Mayfair in London can now be booked through Hilton channels. During the testing phase, Hilton is initially offering a “limited inventory” of rooms from these hotels for immediate booking, with plans to increase availability progressively as the test phase continues, leading up to a wider Hilton-SLH launch.
While Teranka and Nobu Hotel Marbella provide luxurious beach retreats, Flemings Mayfair presents a high-end urban hotel experience for the growing partnership. Near-term booking options seem scarce during the trial period, but rates for stays next year are available.
The Nobu Marbella has rates starting at 343 euros ($369) or 78,000 Hilton Honors points per night for next January. The earliest availability for Hilton Honors members at Teranka seems to be in May, where the rates begin at 1,470 euros ($1,582) or 110,000 Hilton Honors points per night. Flemings Mayfair offers availability in January with rates starting at 294 British pounds ($375) or 80,000 Hilton Honors points per night.
Hilton Honors members are entitled to the following advantages during an SLH stay:
- Member: Ensured member discount, free standard Wi-Fi, free late checkout, bottled water, and no resort fees on reward stays.
- Silver: Receive a 20% bonus of the Elite Tier, a free fifth standard reward night, and all “member” benefits.
- Gold: 80% extra points for Elite Tier, free breakfast for two, available space upgrades, the fifth night free on standard rewards, plus all “member” benefits.
- Diamond tier: Elite Tier bonus of 100%, free breakfast (for two guests), available upgrades subject to space, every fifth standard reward night free, plus all “member” benefits.

Hilton has not officially released any figures, but there are reports suggesting that approximately 100 SLH properties will participate in the partnership this year, with plans for further expansion in the future. If you remember, there’s been a continuous shift in partnerships: SLH was previously partnered with Hyatt until earlier this year. Now, Hyatt is introducing its new collaboration with Mr & Mrs Smith after acquiring the booking platform last year.
The launch of the SLH partnership coincides with Hilton’s bigger initiative to double the number of its lifestyle hotels within four years, incorporating both established brands like Canopy and newer ones such as Graduate and NoMad.
Although the partnerships have shifted, Hilton Honors and World of Hyatt members still have numerous new opportunities for earning and redeeming points at unique, high-end boutique hotels globally.
