Influencer Transforms Airplane Aisle into Yoga Studio, Leading to Disturbance Among Travelers
Folks, having hobbies is wonderful, but it’s crucial to recognize that there’s a suitable time and place for them, along with being self-aware enough to realize when you might be bothering others. With that in mind, here’s the latest (and one of the most blatant) instances of someone practicing yoga on an airplane.

## Influencer performs wild poses in airplane aisles

A social media personality named rosa.adventures took to both Instagram and TikTok to post a video of her practicing yoga (and other activities) in the cramped aisle of a plane. She captions the brief clip with the following:

> Evidence that my training is yielding results. Whether I’m on solid ground or soaring at 35,000 feet, I can still flip upside down, balance on one leg, and move my body with certainty!! Your body has enough strength. Let it flow.

I’m about as limber as a metal pipe, so I’m unable to describe the poses she’s executing. Don’t misunderstand me; they’re stunning, no doubt, and kudos to her for how much she has mastered. However…

## This is reckless, inconsiderate, and seeking attention

Let’s address the main concern here — this is incredibly perilous, not just for her, but for those around her as well. It’s truly delightful to “balance on one leg, and move [your] body with assurance,” but are you trained to perform that if the plane hits turbulence, and you suddenly get hurled against the ceiling?

Guys, this isn’t the aisle of a private jet or some ridiculously spacious cabin (where I’d still find this absurd, but…). Instead, it’s the very cramped rear of the cabin of an Iberia Express Airbus A320-family aircraft. People are crammed in there like sardines, and you can spot the expressions she’s receiving. Most shocking to me is that there’s a lap infant seated exactly where she is practicing this yoga (on the right), so envision if she inadvertently collided with the baby. If someone chooses to jeopardize their own safety, that’s their prerogative. But to do that to others without their agreement is self-centered, at best.

Then there’s undoubtedly the irritating influencer aspect to this. Do you genuinely cherish movement on a plane, and insist on performing yoga? Fine… well, no, not fine, but let’s pretend for a moment it is fine. If this is such a genuine activity for you, you’re really going to take the time to set up a tripod, film yourself, and then take it down again? I can’t envision that this lasted more than 30 seconds before the crew promptly instructed her to stop this behavior immediately.

While I deem this to be one of the more blatant examples of “working out” on a plane, it’s certainly not the first or last we will encounter. For instance, in late 2025, [Diplo took to social media to demonstrate](https://onemileatatime.com/news/diplo-yoga-emirates-first-class/) himself doing yoga in Emirates first class.

## Bottom line

Exercise and movement are excellent, but there’s an appropriate time and place for everything. The packed aisle of a narrow-body plane directly next to a lap infant is absolutely not the venue for doing a handstand, or for kicking your foot back and forth, just inches away from the faces of others.

It’s disheartening how little thought people seem to have for others, both in terms of being mindful of their safety, and in recognizing that just because we find joy in something, doesn’t mean that others will feel the same. I suppose some individuals simply cannot exist without attention… and I guess I’m complicit by giving them that attention, by writing about this?

**Does anyone think inflight yoga like this is not dangerous and inconsiderate?**
