## Transfer Capital One Miles to EVA Air with 30% Bonus
From July 1 to July 31, 2026, the Capital One mileage program in the United States is providing a 30% bonus on the transfer of points to EVA Air Infinity MileageLands. Typically, Capital One miles are converted to EVA Air miles at a 1,000:750 ratio, so with this 30% bonus, you would obtain 975 EVA Air miles for every 1,000 Capital One miles transferred. This brings you very near to a 1:1 transfer ratio.
It’s important to note that Amex Membership Rewards and Chase Ultimate Rewards do not partner with EVA Air. Only Citi ThankYou does partner, and that program features a 1:1 transfer ratio. Therefore, that would typically be my preferred option for transferring to EVA Air.
## Is this Capital One to EVA Air Transfer Bonus Worth It?
These days, securing long-haul business class award space has become increasingly challenging, especially in advance. We are also noticing airlines tighten award space accessibility to members of their own frequent flyer program instead of to those in partner frequent flyer programs.
EVA Air features an excellent business class product, and the airline primarily offers award space to members of its own Infinity MileageLands program. A one-way business class award from the United States to Asia will set you back 75,000 to 80,000 miles, and availability is relatively good, even well in advance. Conversely, if you’re searching for EVA Air long-haul business class award space through partner programs, it’s usually only available at the last minute, and even then, space is quite scarce.
Before transferring any points to the program, ensure you check out my guide to redeeming for EVA Air business class. Indeed, availability is decent, but the booking process is far from simple. The website is poor, there are restrictions on who you can redeem for, and you must frustratingly submit forms, etc.
Nonetheless, if you manage to find availability, it could be worth the effort. Just ensure you’re knowledgeable about the process, and conduct your research in advance.
I should also mention that since Citi to EVA Air transfers are at a 1:1 ratio, this doesn’t present an extraordinary value, as the bonus essentially brings you very close to a 1:1 Capital One to EVA Air transfer ratio. However, this could be advantageous if you lack Citi points, or if you prefer to utilize your Capital One miles for this purpose while reserving your Citi points for another use.
