In November 2026, Singapore Airlines plans to unveil its next-generation cabins, showcasing an entirely new first and business class. As part of this enhancement, the airline has declared its intention to elevate inflight dining throughout all cabins with an array of new dishes, beverages, and serving ware. While these updates are encouraging, they aren’t deemed groundbreaking.
Singapore Airlines is revamping its inflight dining experience by introducing over 100 new and revamped appetizers, main dishes, and desserts across its four cabins. The airline is also incorporating new wine selections for Suites, first class, and business class, along with additional spirit options for all cabins. In the Suites, first class, and business class, meals will be presented on custom-crafted serving ware designed in collaboration with Christofle, featuring a refined interpretation of SIA’s signature batik pattern.
The airline has commenced the rollout of new dishes, with the rest of the enhancements scheduled to debut in November 2026. Yeoh Phee Teik, Singapore Airlines’ SVP of Customer Experience, highlights that the changes are driven by customer insights and shifting dining trends, with the goal of creating a more memorable onboard dining experience.
Though these updates are embraced, they are viewed as gradual enhancements rather than a complete transformation. Singapore Airlines is recognized for its exceptional service, yet there are aspects where it hasn’t evolved sufficiently, such as the absence of dine on demand in business class. Ultimately, the dining updates are part of a broader rejuvenation of the airline’s offerings, including new cabins, amenities, and services.
