Singapore Airlines Launches Personal Concierge Service for First Class Travelers at Changi Airport
Singapore Airlines is celebrated for its outstanding first class service, branded as First Class on the 777 and Suites Class on the A380. The airline provides an excellent onboard atmosphere and a well-regarded lounge at its Singapore Changi hub. Historically, one area that was missing in Singapore Airlines’ first class service was a fluid ground experience. However, the airline has recently launched a personal concierge service to remedy this, establishing it as a permanent feature.

In the past, first class travelers at Changi Airport had to make their way from the check-in area to the lounge and then to the gate independently. With security generally set up at each gate, the experience lacked the smoothness it could ideally offer. Now, with the new concierge service, passengers receive assistance right from the moment they arrive at the airport. This service offers porter help with luggage, expedited check-in complete with chilled hand towels, and an escort to immigration and The Private Room lounge. Within the lounge, the concierge is available to help with flight monitoring, rebookings, and shopping requests.

When it’s time to board, passengers are transported to the gate in a golf cart, assisted with security, and guided down the jet bridge to the aircraft. This service seeks to create a journey as smooth as possible, adding an element of luxury to the travel experience.

This improvement comes as Singapore Airlines gears up to launch a new first class product in 2027, alongside enhancements to inflight dining and amenities. The concierge service represents a significant advance in enriching the overall first class experience, making it more competitive and opulent.
