Atmos Rewards Unveils Pioneering Lap Infant Award Policy

Atmos Rewards, the loyalty program for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, has recently revised its policy concerning award travel for lap infants, rendering it the most accommodating in the industry. This modification is a key incentive for redeeming points within the program. Generally, including a lap infant on an international flight incurs a fee of 10% of the adult fare plus taxes and fees, including on award tickets. Nonetheless, Atmos Rewards now permits the inclusion of a lap infant on an international award ticket at no additional cost, apart from government-mandated taxes and fees, when tickets are purchased through Atmos Rewards. This new policy is applicable to travel on Alaska, Hawaiian, and all partner airlines, as long as the ticket is on 027 stock. This update enhances the appeal of Atmos Rewards for families traveling with lap infants, as it removes the often significant expenses linked to international lap infant travel on award tickets.
