Avianca is poised to greatly improve its long-haul business class services, according to Aviacionline. The airline intends to retrofit its whole fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners with new business class seating by 2027. These enhancements will include reverse herringbone suites equipped with doors, a contemporary design, and cutting-edge technology, featuring 19-inch 4K screens and Bluetooth audio. The new seats are anticipated to be the Collins Aerospace Elements product, recognized for its premium quality.
Alongside the improvements to the hard product, Avianca is also transforming its soft product. This encompasses a revamped dining experience, refreshed amenity kits, the launch of pajamas, and Meridian noise-cancelling headphones. The airline is committing resources to specialized training for flight attendants to elevate business class service and etiquette. Additionally, Avianca is implementing Wi-Fi throughout its Dreamliner fleet.
These upgrades are designed to rectify earlier drawbacks in Avianca’s business class offering and enhance customer satisfaction. With these changes, Avianca is positioning itself to present a more competitive and attractive business class service.
