Lufthansa Unveils New Premium Onboard Experience in First Class
Lufthansa is presently elevating its passenger experience, particularly on long-haul journeys, through the introduction of its new Allegris cabin concept, which features updated first and business class offerings. In conjunction with this, Lufthansa is revamping its soft product on long-haul flights, a modification now accessible in first class. The airline’s goal is to transform its onboard experience with the “FOX” concept, which stands for “Future Onboard Experience,” to be executed across all service categories by 2026. This effort is part of Lufthansa’s ambition to establish itself as Europe’s premier airline by its centenary.

FOX prioritizes individuality, comfort, and memorable moments. In business class, travelers can select their second meal at their leisure, while economy and premium economy classes will present three meal choices. The FOX concept highlights upscale amenities, improved textiles, and new tableware in every class. Memorable moments feature distinct services such as the caviar offering in first class and the Avionic signature libation.

By late March 2026, FOX has been launched in first class, boasting new tableware, a gourmet breakfast featuring caviar, an enhanced beverage menu, and a fine dining experience crafted by two-Michelin-starred chef Christoph Kunz. First class passengers will also savor a premium selection of champagne and a customizable amenity kit by BABOR.

Lufthansa’s FOX project, created with contributions from employees and clients, intends to improve the travel experience through individuality, comfort, and unique Lufthansa encounters. While the adjustments in first class are regarded as considerate, the full effects of FOX will become more apparent once it is introduced in other classes by May 2026.
